The Winds of Time
The winds of time
shatter all thoughts in the
night;
and the days of yore
come back to haunt you;
or was it the longings for more?
You are not lost to time -
time flies past you as you stand
your ground,
ever moving
ever straining,
against the wings of the dove.
You must travel inward
to the heart of love.
You Must journey onward
to where others dare not to tread
for their hearts are not so empty
as yours
Their hearts are full
of their fears and their dreads,
their lies and their hopes
that seem to be so easily dashed,
You, dear one,
now come with an empty heart;
a heart that can be filled
with the Spirit's love'
a heart that can be filled
with the earth-bound song
of the falling leaves,
the falling snow and rain,
the crackling fire,
the driving wind,
as well as the celestial song
of angels all around
You are now traveling
on the winds of time.
these winds blow irrespective
of others' directions -
no attention given
to the ways of the world.
You are the light
You are the dark.
You are the infinite void of all
creation.
And there you remain,
peering into the time-full world,
and wondering how it all
could possibly make sense.
You stand still in these winds of
time,
for you are all time.
You are all space
and all of infinity.
Stand still in the winds of time
Know your love.
Know your self.
Now you must come to truly see
where you stand -
to know your place in the
universe.
You will see that your place
is not in this physical world
where your body resides
Your place
is standing in your empty heart
receiving God.
