You say you never understood

How it felt to REALLY love.

That a love like ours comes only once

And comes from up above.

You swore that you were different,

Not like all the rest,

That my heart is forever safe with you

If ever put to test.

You tell me that you love me

And how beautiful I am,

That you will never leave me

And I'll know just where I stand.

You say you will NEVER lie or cheat

Because that saw done to you,

The hurt, the pain, the broken heart

Is too much to live through.

You won't be the one to  mess this up

'Cause you know just what you've got,

You will be forever honest and true,

But truth is what it is not.

It's hard to ever trust again,

Only I can show you how.

You say these things to romance me,

But look who is lying now.

You snuck around behind my back

And that was just the start.

You lied to my face when I caught you

And that REALLY broke my heart.

The fact that you were cheating

Left me shattered beyond belief,

I tried so hard to believe in your lies,

But there was no relief.

I think of all the promises

And of all that we have been through.

I think of all the love I have,

My life I would give for you.

I still can't believe we are over.

Much less inall the rest.

They say that whatever happens

Always happens for the best.

My heart you've broken, my dreams are gone,

My soul you have shattered,

My feelings are dead, my spirit is broken,

But the is not what mattered.

You will aways have a place in my heart.

Your lies I can forgive.

The hardest part has just begun,

I have to relearn how to live.

Our dreams together are over.

We have said our last goodbyes.

I can't help but feel we'd been happy,

If it wasn't for all of your lies.
